Payment is due within seven days of receipt of written notification of your acceptance to Helsinki Summer School. If you register before 31 May 2013, you receive a 50 EUR discount on the registration fee. The registration fee for degree and exchange students attending one of the Helsinki Summer School universities is 50 EUR. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Payment may be made either by bank transfer or credit card (Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard only).

If we do not receive a credit card payment or a copy of the bank transfer within one week of notification of your acceptance, we will have no choice but to cancel your course reservation. Your application will, however, remain in our database and, if there are still places available, you may renew your registration simply by contacting us.

Course fee

The course fee can be paid with a credit card or with a bank transfer before the start of the Helsinki Summer School. The fee must be paid latest by August 2, 2013.

Degree and exchange students attending the Helsinki Summer School Universities are exempted from the course fee.

Social programme fee

Most Social Programme events are free of charge. However, three events have fees for all participants:

  • City Tour 20 EUR
  • Baltic Sea Dinner Cruise 45 EUR
  • Wildlife and Sauna Trip 70 EUR

You can register for these events and pay the fees at the HSS Info Desk upon your arrival. Note that if you pay the fees upon your arrival you can only pay with a chip-card or by cash.

However, bear in mind that there is a limit for the number of participants for these events. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase in advance the Ultimate Fun Package (120 EUR), which contains all the three events mentioned above. This way you will both secure a spot for yourself in all the events mentioned above and save money.
